1. Order System (Pre-Order Only)

Jean’s Kusina operates on a weekly pre-order basis. Orders are accepted during the designated pre-order period and prepared fresh based on confirmed weekly orders.

• Pre-Orders Open: Sunday to Thursday
• Delivery / Pickup Days: Friday and Saturday

Orders placed after the Thursday cutoff will be scheduled for the following week.

2. Delivery & Pickup

Jean’s Kusina currently serves SUNY Albany campus dorms and selected nearby local areas.

• Campus Delivery: Selected SUNY Albany dorms only
• Local Delivery: Selected nearby areas only
• Pickup Location: 77 Kent St #1, Albany, NY 12206

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery or pickup information at checkout.

3. Delivery Information Accuracy

Customers must select the correct delivery option and provide all required details, including dorm, building, room number, or local delivery address where applicable.

Jean’s Kusina is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or additional coordination caused by incomplete or incorrect information submitted by the customer.

4. Payment Policy

Full payment is required before an order is confirmed. Accepted payment methods will be shown at checkout.

If proof of payment is required, the customer must upload a clear and valid screenshot or receipt before the order can be processed.

Orders will not be prepared until payment has been reviewed and approved.

5. Order Confirmation

An order is only considered confirmed once all required order details are completed and payment has been successfully verified.

Jean’s Kusina reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or hold any order that is incomplete, unpaid, suspicious, or outside the service area.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Because all meals are prepared fresh as part of a weekly pre-order system, confirmed orders are generally final.

• No cancellations once the order has been confirmed
• No refunds for missed pickups or failed receipt due to customer unavailability
• Refunds may only be issued if Jean’s Kusina is unable to fulfill the order

7. Food Preparation & Availability

All meals are freshly prepared based on weekly demand. While we strive to provide consistency and quality, menu items, portions, packaging, or availability may vary slightly depending on ingredient supply and preparation conditions.

Jean’s Kusina reserves the right to make reasonable substitutions when necessary.

8. Delivery Responsibility

Customers must be available to receive their order during the agreed delivery window or pickup schedule.

If a customer is unreachable, unavailable, or fails to claim the order on time, Jean’s Kusina shall not be obligated to provide a replacement, redelivery, or refund.

9. Allergies & Dietary Concerns

Customers are responsible for reviewing menu descriptions and contacting Jean’s Kusina in advance regarding any allergy or dietary concerns.

While care is taken during food preparation, Jean’s Kusina cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment and shall not be held liable for allergic reactions or sensitivities.

10. Limitation of Liability

Jean’s Kusina shall not be liable for any delay, non-performance, or issue caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to weather conditions, traffic, ingredient shortages, technical issues, or inaccurate customer information.

11. Changes to These Terms

Jean’s Kusina may update or revise these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website and ordering system constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
